Today we moved to Kloveniersburgwal 49 1011JX Amsterdam.
I started my office in 1998 on Kloveniersburgwal 53 and always wanted to come back one day to this heart of Amsterdam whose history goes back to the middle age. It has always been mix of academics, craftsmen, vagabonds, red lights and Chinese and I always felt very comfortable.
I remember so many people then droppped in for drink and food and so many stayed with us spreading on the floor.
Now we rent a floor, the former film editing room of Louis van Gasteren, who introduced me to the core of Dutch culture and history 20 yeas ago.
The world has changed since but I am happy to be here again.
